How Invisalign Functions
Invisalign treatment begins with the ending in view. A 3-D computerized model of the patient’s dental teeth is created, which depicts the patient’s teeth prior 激光脫毛 – https://www.evrbeauty.com/ to and after the Invisalign treatment. Margeson makes any modifications and then sends the data to the Invisalign laboratory where the aligners are constructed.
Margeson is able to show patients every movement using Invisalign’s ClinCheck software throughout treatment.
Invisalign aligners are made of clear, medical-grade , plastic and can be customized to fit each individual patient. The average patient will receive up to six sets of aligners during their orthodontic exam. Each aligner lasts approximately two weeks.
The series of aligners work together to gradually move the teeth in a an optimal alignment, Margeson said. The treatment typically lasts nine to 18 months.
Oral Hygiene Benefits
Invisalign treatment is simple because aligners are removed when you drink, eat and floss.
Margeson said that tartar and plaque can build around brackets in patients who don’t take care of their dental hygiene. Food is often stuck around brackets.” “Flossing also can take a little longer because floss threaders are needed to move between wires and teeth to floss correctly.”
Removable aligners can eliminate any possible obstructions. Patients can wear their aligners and then remove them to eat or drink. Patients can floss and brush like normal.
