ALBANY GA Invisalign continues to gain popularity for one Albany, GA orthodontist as more people go in search of options that are aesthetic for orthodontic treatment.
Since 1999 since 1999, since 1999, Dr. Dallas Margeson offers Invisalign at his south Georgia orthodontics practice. Margeson offers many Invisalign products to patients as additional treatment options, thanks to Align Technology, the pioneers in invisible braces as well as the creators of Invisalign.
Since Invisalign was introduced in 1999, the firm has come up with a variety of versions of the product, Margeson said. These include:
* Invisalign Full A treatment option which can correct malocclusion in complex and simple cases.
* Invisalign Teen – This range is designed for patients who are 14 and less. It has power ridges and compliance indicators. Invisalign Teen allows for the natural eruption of permanent teeth and addresses supra-eruption. Invisalign Teen was made available in the United States in July 2008.
* Invisalign Express- A treatment option that employs up to 10 aligners. It is a less expensive solution for minor spacing and crowding cases, or as a precursor to cosmetic or restorative treatments.
* Vivera Retainers – These retainers can be used to ensure that patients remain healthy after treatment has ended. New retainers are made accessible to patients through a subscription plan. Vivera Retainers became accessible in the U.S. in January 2008.
According to the Albany, GA Invisalign provider, “Invisalign has been proven to be a viable option to a range of malocclusion problems.” “This coupled with the aesthetic features that many patients would like and the oral hygiene benefits make Invisalign an ideal orthodontic treatment option for many of our patients.”
How Invisalign Worked
Invisalign treatment starts with the end of the treatment visible. A 3-D computer-generated model of the patient’s teeth is created which shows the teeth of the patient before and after treatment with Invisalign. Margeson will make any needed modifications, and the information is then sent to the Invisalign lab where the aligners will be made.
With the help of Invisalign’s ClinCheck software, 激光脫毛 – https://www.evrbeauty.com/ Margeson is able to show patients each movement, aligner by aligner, throughout the process of treatment.
Invisalign aligners are made of clear, medical-grade – http://www.search.com/search?q=medical-grade , plastic and are custom-made for each individual patient. The average patient will receive up to six sets of aligners at their orthodontic checkup. Each aligner is used for approximately two weeks.
Margeson explained that the set of aligners works together to gradually shift teeth into proper alignment. The treatment typically lasts nine to 18 months.
Oral Hygiene Benefits
Invisalign treatment is simple because the aligners are removed when you eat, drink, and floss.
“Tartar and plaque can build around brackets when patients don’t maintain their oral hygiene, and food often gets caught in brackets” Margeson said. “Flossing can take a bit longer, because floss threaders are needed to get between the wires and teeth in order to floss correctly.”
With removable aligners, you can eliminate any potential obstacles. Patients wear aligners, and then remove them to consume food or drink. Patients can floss and brush like normal.
